Consultant Executive Producer, Speaker, and Head of Film Programming at Theatreship.
I traded life as a lawyer to develop, direct, and produce factual programming. I now have 27 plus years of experience in the television and film industry, but still genuinely have the motivation and drive as if it's day one. As a multi-award-winning Executive Producer, my work spans high-impact documentaries and factual television that sparks global conversation - from Netflix’s The Man with 1000 Kids to BBC’s The Apprentice.
With a proven track record across all major UK and US broadcasters, I specialize in managing large development slates, steering high-profile vulnerable access documentaries, and driving creative teams from conception to TX.I truly believe that diversity on and off screen makes better programming. Coming from a council estate in Birmingham to studying Jurisprudence (Law) at the University of Oxford, and navigating the industry as a female, disabled professional, my main passions are to engage and mentor the next generation of storytellers.
I am currently available for consultancy and freelance Executive Producer roles.

I'm as passionate about curating programming as producing it. I'm the Head of Film Programming at Theatreship. What started as an idea to film a documentary about the team's conversion of the 1913 cargo ship into a new arts centre transformed into a hands-on curatorial involvement in the project.
Today, we operate the ship as floating cinema in Canary Wharf. My goal is to combat choice fatigue by presenting hidden gems, melodramas, and the underdogs of cinema to fresh audiences in an unforgettable physical space.
